In 1998, a while before Valnoir founded Metastazis, he launched his solo project Gohr Al Krohn. It never went further than this 1999 demo, now re-issued by french-canadian label Tour de garde.
Don't expect high quality production (the vocals were recorded in walkman headphones), don't expect maturity, don't even expect perfect execution.
Instead, you'll find pure sincerity, genuine atmospheric and integrist black metal sounding like an echo from a vanished past.
Like recently said an extremely influencial artist (for Valnoir at least) said :
"Black Metal in the early days was mainly about one single thing - no matter how adolescent and ridiculous, but in the very moment - fucking live it, don´t act like if, never pretend".
This is a youth voyage, a spontaneous and indefensible trip "against christianity, weakness and democracy", love it or hate it, we don't care.
